About
I am a PhD candidate in computer science at the University of Victoria and an organizer of the workshop on Web 2.0 for Software Engineering (Web2SE). In my PhD research, I am exploring the role of social media artifacts in collaborative software development. My recent studies examine the use of tags, dashboards, feeds and a community portal by professional software developers using IBM’s Jazz.
I am working with Dr. Margaret-Anne (Peggy) Storey and Dr. Jens Weber. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Siegen in Germany and spent one year as an exchange student at the University of British Columbia, Canada.
